I had the pleasure of participating in today's public art workshop at Fairfield Community Place this afternoon, and am happy to let you know it will be running again next Saturday November 22 from  10-4pm. This very family friendly event is a perfect way to get to know your neighbours, get messy, and participate in a meaningful and unique public art project guided by artist Carolyn Knight. The end product will be used in the garden signage eventually, so this is your opportunity to make your mark!

Thanks to a record turn out, our garden is looking good. Really good. The rain held off and friends, neighbours, pets & little ones attended to get this place into shape in no time.

Fall Fairfield

One could describe this year's Fall Fairfield event as nothing short of magical. Dancing, art making, bubble chasing, tasting, laughing and visiting with neighbours in the glorious fall sun made this afternoon affair a memorable one. 

Tours and information on the Fairfield Community Garden was provided and the plants were well represented with new signs- thank you volunteers!
